§ 2.44.030. Definition of residence.

In order to qualify as a resident of the city or a resident within five miles of the corporate city limits as herein provided, a person must actually have his permanent place of residence within the corporate limits or within five miles of the corporate limits with an intent to make the city or the area within five miles of the corporate limits his/her actual residence or such person must reside upon real estate property owned by the city which is considered within the corporate limits in accordance with Section 2.44.080, or in the case of employees, within five miles of the corporate limits.
