§ 10.20.050. Unattended vehicle—Generally.

  • No person driving or in charge of a motor vehicle shall permit it to stand unattended without first stopping the engine, locking the ignition and recovering the key therefor, or when standing upon any perceptible grade, without effectively setting the brake thereon, and turning the front wheels so that if the vehicle moves, it will move into the curb or side of the roadway.
