§ 8.08.150. Timing and location for placement of receptacles.

It shall be the duty of every person in possession of any premises within the city to place, or cause to be placed, his or her garbage receptacles at the curb in front of the property for pick-up, in an appropriate location to accommodate collection of the garbage, as specified by the city council or the authorized representative thereof. Garbage receptacles shall not be placed at the curb for collection until after six o'clock p.m. on the evening before the scheduled collection date. Garbage receptacles shall be removed from the curb and returned to a proper place of storage no later than ten o'clock p.m. on the scheduled collection date. Under no circumstances shall garbage receptacles be left at the curb for greater than twenty-four hours at a time.
