§ 5.08.040. License-Issuance-Record.

Any license issued according to the provisions of this chapter shall be issued by the mayor and countersigned by the clerk after approval by a majority of the members of the city council. The clerk shall maintain current records of all licenses issued. No license shall be issued unless the applicant has fully conformed with all requirements set forth in this chapter. Any license issued shall be posted at all times in a prominent place, in full view, in the dance hall.

There shall be a maximum of five outstanding licenses at any time. The applicant and all officers of a corporation shall be residents of the city for a minimum of six calendar months.
