§ 2.28.120. Appropriation—Levy of taxes.

The city council may have an appropriation for civil defense purposes in the manner provided by law, and may levy, in addition, for civil defense purposes only, a tax not to exceed five cents per hundred dollars of the assessed value of all taxable property, in addition to all other taxes, as provided by the "Illinois Civil Defense Act of 1951," as amended.
