§ 13.16.670. Basic user rate.

  • A.

    There shall be and there is established a minimum charge and a basic user rate for the use of and for service supplied by the waste water facilities of the city. A monthly charge of nineteen dollars and ninety cents shall be applied to all users within the corporate city limits of Georgetown for water consumption up to two thousand gallons per month.

    B.

    A basic rate of seven dollars and seventy-five cents per one thousand gallons or portion thereof shall be applied to all users within the corporate city limits of Georgetown for water consumption in excess of two thousand gallons monthly.

    C.

    All non-metered residential users of the wastewater facilities shall pay a minimum flat monthly charge adequate to cover the cost of the minimum debt service charge, the monthly minimum service charge and the monthly flat rate of nineteen dollars and ninety cents.

    D.

    The rates of customers outside the corporate city limits of Georgetown shall be a monthly charge of twenty-six dollars and sixty cents, which shall be applied to all said users for water consumption up to two thousand gallons per month, and nine dollars and seventy-five cents per one thousand gallons or portion thereof shall be applied to all said users for water consumption in excess of two thousand gallons monthly.
