§ 13.16.660. Debt service and capital improvements charges.

  • A.

    A monthly sewer debt service charge is levied on users in order to repay loans and bonds undertaken by the city for sewer system's infrastructure and waste water treatment facility, new construction and upgrades. There shall be and there is hereby established a sewer debt service charge of ten dollars and fifty cents per month for each user of the waste water facilities of the city. In a complex, compound, facility, or building consisting of multiple living units, this charge shall apply to each unit therein which uses the waste water facilities of the city.

    B.

    A monthly storm sewer debt service charge is levied on users in order to repay loans and bonds undertaken by the city for the storm sewer system's infrastructure, new construction and upgrades. There shall be and there is hereby established a storm sewer debt service charge of four dollars and eighty-five cents per month for each user of the water facilities of the city. In a complex, compound, facility, or building consisting of multiple living units, this charge shall apply to each unit therein which uses the water facilities of the city.

    C.

    A monthly storm sewer operation charge is levied on users in order to fund operation of the storm sewer system. There shall be and there is hereby established a storm sewer operation charge of two dollars and seventy-five cents per month for each user of the water facilities of the city. In a complex, compound, facility, or building consisting of multiple living units, this charge shall apply to each unit therein which uses the water facilities of the city.
