§ 10.16.020. Designations—Stop signs.

All vehicular traffic, motorized and nonmotorized, shall observe the following designations:
A.

All streets running in an east-west direction in the city are designated as "through streets." Vehicular traffic on all east-west streets is not required to stop except as provided in Section 10.16.030.

B.

All streets running in a north-south direction in the city are designated as "stop streets." Vehicular traffic on all north-south streets is required to stop at all intersections with streets running east to west except as provided in Section 10.16.030.

C.

The city shall post stop signs in accordance with this chapter at all intersections and in all areas where vehicular traffic must stop, with the exception of those areas as provided in Section 10.16.040.
